Biden tests positive again

The White House has announced that the antigen test conducted to check whether United States President Joe Biden has been infected with the Covid-19 virus has come back positive for the second time.

According to the statement, although the antigen test performed on 79-year-old President Joe Biden was positive, the symptoms of Covid have not re-emerged.

President Joe Biden is said to have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and both booster doses.

Biden's physician said the President is not experiencing any symptoms but that he will isolate at the White House.

Although the antigen test conducted on Saturday was positive, the antigen test conducted on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning and Friday morning were negative, the White House said.

The White House said that President Joe Biden received Paxlovid, an antiviral drug for Covid.

Doctors said that this is a condition that occurs in a small number of people who take Paxlovid anti-viral medicine.
