Shenuki bags swimming c'ship again! Featured

Shenuki Dishalya of the Bishops College, Colombo has bagged the all-island swimming championship for the third consecutive time.

She has also become the best swimmer in the Under-15 and Under-17 categories.

Not only is she a classy swimmer, but also a budding gymnast as well.

Shenuki has already represented Sri Lanka on an international level. In 2016, she contested in the Junior Commonwealth Games held in Namibia. In addition she had also represented Sri Lanka at the Asian Junior Gymnastics championship held in Bangkok.

Noting that her parents, Chairman of the SPMC - Dr. Sayuru Somasundara as well as Dr. Sujatha Senaratne have been pillars of support for her journey, Shenuki says, her ultimate goal is to represent Sri Lanka at the Olympics one day.
