Lakmal poised to set new Lankan record

Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal could be setting a new record during the Third Test match against South Africa which is set to begin from tomorrow (12).

He could be setting a new Sri Lankan record for the bowler bagging the most number of wickets during a Test series.

The present record was set by Chaminda Vaas In 1995, during a Test tournament against New Zealand, where he bagged 16 wickets.

Presently, Suranga Lakmal has bagged 12 wickets during this tournament.
