Manchester mourns

Thousands of people came together at a candlelit vigil in Manchester's Albert Square to remember those who lost their lives in the terror attack on Monday night.

Many lay flowers as a mark of respect and others carried posters with the message: "The city of Manchester stands together."

Lord Mayor of Manchester, Eddy Newman, began the vigil by saying: "The people of Manchester will remember the victims forever and we will defy the terrorists by working together to create cohesive, diverse communities that are stronger together. We are the many, they are the few."
