Youth arrested in Jaffna with ‘Ice’ (pics)

The Waddukodai Police had arrested a youth in the Jaffna, Madagal area yesterday (27) when he was preparing a stock of the narcotic drug ‘Ice’ to be transported for distribution.

Based on a tip-off the police had raided the house of the suspect and arrested the 21-year-old suspect together with 85 grams of the drug valued at around Rs. 800,000.

The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Mallakam Magistrate’s Court, while the Waddukodai Police is investigating further.
