A change in provincial governors Featured

There will be a change in all provincial governors within days, says the governors’ office.

The new governors are due to take their oaths on April 06.

The president has summoned all governors and discussed matters.

The incumbent governors will mostly likely be transferred to other provinces, as their terms are confined to three years only.

Several chief ministers want Reginald Cooray, presently governor of the northern province, be appointed governor of their provinces.
