Reginald’s plaque discarded near lake he funded

A plaque was erected in 2006 in appreciation of the lake development project in Kesbewa town in the Western provincial Council area for which funds were allocated through the intervention of former Minister Reginald Cooray.

However, it was discovered that this plaque had been destroyed and discarded last year during another construction project. However, the resident point out that if the plaque needed to be removed from its location for another project, then it should have been located in another suitable location instead of being discarded.
