Competition for CITES logo

A competition will be held to select a logo for the 18th conference of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) that will be hosted by Sri Lanka in 2019, said the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife.

Only individuals can submit entries containing the CITES brand name, the words World Wildlife Conference, COP 18, Colombo 2019 and pictures depicting CITES-listed species of Sri Lanka and of the local culture.

Entries, including in CDs, should reach the CITES Secretariat, Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife, 8th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla before December 15.
