Sinhala mothers should bear more children – Isura Devapriya Featured

Western province chief minister Isura Devapriya says the nation and Buddhism can be saved only if Sinhala mothers bear more and more children.

He was speaking at the opening of a treatment facility for Buddhist monks at Embuldeniya in Nugegoda.

Saying small family is gold, Sinhala mothers have just one or two children.

Instead of bearing more children, they criticize Muslim mothers, who have four, five or even 10 children, said Devapriya.

The CM urged Sinhalese to have more children and nurture their nation, and only then the country, nation and Buddhism can be saved.
