SJB responds to the Prime Minister’s request

Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa in replying to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has said he will only agree to a multi party government.

In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe, Mr. Premadasa said the ground reality is that Rajapaksas should not get involved in any process which is designed to pull the nation out of the crisis.

"We have already expressed this view of ours to President Rajapaksa. I have attached copies of two letters which I have sent to President," he added.
