SI dies after tear gas gun explodes

A sub inspector has died after a tear gas gun has exploded, the Police spokesman states.

The number of persons who had died following clashes reported across the country yesterday has increased to six.

Meanwhile, 218 persons have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital following clashes reported opposite Temple Trees and Galle Face Green yesterday.
