While some insurance companies do provide EPF and ETF benefits to their agents, some come up with various excuses to evade it, they pointed out.
The collective has urged the minister to do the needful to introduce the necessary legal framework.
The minister urged the Labour commissioner to compile a report after considering all facts mentioned and after talking to all relevant parties. He added that with the assent of the Cabinet, a legal framework would be introduced to fill the legal loopholes, based on the report.
