Chinese embassy donates medical equipment to BIA employees Featured

Chinese embassy has donated a consignment of medical equipment for the use of the employees at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake to help them to protect themselves from COVID-19.

The donation has been made in view of the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the Chinese embassy and the Airport Aviation Services Pvt Ltd.

Among the donation were 270 Personnel Protection equipment, 24,000 face maks, 500 gloves and4800 KN-95 face masks.

Political Advisor of the embassy Hu Wei handed over the donation to Chairman of the Sri Lanka Airport and Aviation Pvt Ltd Maj. Gen(retired) G.A. Chandrasiri and Senior Manager of the airport V.A.R.S. Zovis.
