Mahindananda’s case postponed to Feb 3rd

Further consideration of the case filed against Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage by the Attorney General, over the misappropriation of Rs.3.9 million belonging to the Sri Lanka Free Trade Union Congress, has been postponed to the 3rd of February.

The decision was reached when the case was taken up for hearing today before Colombo High Court Judge Aditya Patabendige.

NewsRadio court correspondent said the decision to postpone the hearing was taken due to the absence of the Deputy Solicitor General representing the Attorney General who is overseeing the complaint, due to illness.
