Today's cases include 526 contacts of the Peliyagoda cluster and 66 cases from the prison cluster.

According to the situation report of the Epidemiology Unit issued at 07.30pm today (Dec. 31), the number of total infections is at 43,299.

It adds that there are 7,766 patients under medical care, 35,329 recoveries and 204 fatalities at the moment.
