Random Antigen tests at all 11 WP exit points

Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) will be carried out randomly at 11 exit points of the Western Province from tomorrow (23), police say.

Speaking to media, DIG Ajith Rohana said expressways, buses and trains will be covered through this special programme that will be conducted till Jan. 05. 
The DIG said from the RATs done so far, 17 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.

He noted that the objective of the programme is to identify COVID-19 cases and direct them for treatment and to prevent sub clusters from breaking out.
