Police Field Force HQ isolated (Update)

The Police Field Force Headquarters in Bambalapitiya has been isolated, reports say.

More than 2,000 police personnel across the country have reportedly tested positive for Covid-19.

Arachchikattuwa Police, Colombo building site temporarily closed

The Arachchikattuwa Police Station has been temporarily closed after two police personnel attached to the station tested positive for Covid-19.

Arachchikattuwa Police OIC said all the police personnel attached to the police station and close contacts have been sent to self-quarantine.

Building site closed

Meanwhile, a construction site in Colombo 02 has also been isolated following the detection of Covid-19 cases yesterday.

The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said 43 COVID-19 cases were detected from the area yesterday.
