Out of 65 cases reported yesterday, 41 were from the Borella police station, increasing the total number of officers infected at the station to 56.

More than 3000 police officers are now placed under quarantine at quarantine centers and their place of residences, police sources said.

56 STF personnel were also reported among the infected.

Including them were some officers involved in VIP protection duties. 

Three STF camps in Kalubowila, Kelaniya and Rajagiriya where most of the cases were found are currently isolated.
