Social media's take on a 'bloody', divided SJB

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) led by the opposition leader - Sajith Premadasa grabbed the attention of social media during today's crucial vote with regard to the 20th Amendment, but mostly for the wrong reasons.

Bloody stickers
During the debate, SJB MPs were seen stickers pasted on themselves to give them a 'blood splattered' look.

In a Facebook post, one journalist had commented that a weak opposition providing jokes to the public was a blessing to a government in power.

Money talks?
Meanwhile, a video where SJB MP Thushara Indunil is hilariously attempting to give money to fellow party member Mohommad Nazir is also making rounds online.

Nay or aye?
Also, member of SLMC and SJB MP M. S. Thowfeek, who supported the 20A today, was seen with a “No for 20A” sticker at the start of the debate on the 20th Amendment.

Social media was also highly critical of SJB MP - Diana Gamage, who voted in favour of the 20th Amendment.
