2nd term school holidays from tomorrow (Update) Featured

The second term school holidays will commence from tomorrow (Oct. 05), the Ministry of Education said today (Oct. 04).

Meanwhile, all schools, tuition classes, and piriven schools in the Gampaha district will be closed until Friday, the 9th of October, with effect from today.

Schools closed in Gampaha District

The Education ministry has announced that All schools and tuition classes in Gampaha District will be closed from tomorrow (05) to Friday (09), Minister of education, Prof. G.L. Peiris says.

The ministry adds that all Dhamma schools and Piriven institutions will be closed immediately as well.

The measures were taken after a female Covid-19 patient was found from the Divulapitiya area.
