Govt. Press to print passports?

The cabinet is considering the printing of passports and government documents (that are currently being printed by foreign printing companies), at the Government Press in a bid to retain the foreign exchange outflow in the country.

Accordingly, the minister of Mass Media and information has presented a proposal to purchase necessary machinery for this purpose.

The cabinet has considered the proposal and decided to assign the Planning Department to conduct a detailed evaluation of the project.
