Covid-19 cases in SL cross 1,000 mark (update)

Another one person has tested positive for Covid-19 taking up the total number of cases to 1021.

Another 28 persons test positive for Covid-19 increasing the total number of cases found so far in Sri Lanka to 1020.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe says the 28 new cases are Navy personnel who were at the Oluvil quarantine centre.

According to the situation report of the Epidemiology Unit issued at 6.00pm on May 19, there are 442 patients under medical care, 569 recoveries and 09 fatalities at the moment.
