China donates medical equipment to SL (Pics)

Today, a new batch of medical equipment aid from China was handed over to Sri Lankan authorities today (27).

The Chinese embassy tweeted that the consignment included 20,000 test kits, 10,000 PPEs and 110,000 masks.

According to the state owned TV channel - ITN, the consignment, valued over Rs. 211 million, was handed over to minister of Health - Pavithra Wanniarachchi by the acting ambassador of the embassy - Mr. Hu Wei.

Thanking for the consignment, minister Wanniarachchi stated that China was a friend who has been providing assistance for a long time.
