COPE, COPA chairmen appointed

JVP MP Sunil Handunneththi has been re-appointed as Chairman of Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).

Meanwhile, State Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna has been unanimously re-appointed as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).

Mr. Handunneththi and Mr. Alagiyawanna both held these positions before parliament was prorogued last December.
