The stock of milk powder has been valued at around Rs. 3.5 million and the Puttalam District Deputy Health Services Director had been notified by the Livestock Development Board and the stock of substandard milk power will be released to the Horakale farm.
Around two tons of the rejected milk power was handed over to the Horalake farm on the 23rd.
Another three tons of the rejected stock of milk powder would be released to a farm in Rideegama run by the Livestock Development Board.
