Iraj alleges that following the Easter Sunday attack a review team has been appointed by the government with the knowledge of Facebook to monitor the Facebook posts and this is being done according to their complaints.
Iraj says that a group of supporters of Mangala Samaraweera is behind this.
However, they have not been able to touch YouTube yet and Iraj said he is taking the complaint of Facebook misuse up to the Facebook parent company.
Muslim shops closed in Kandy
The Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) has organized a rally at the Bogambara Grounds in Kandy today (07 June).
It is scheduled to start at 2.00 pm and is expected to be attended by around 10,000 Buddhist monks.
With the announcement that Buddhist monks of BBS will be gathering in Kandy, it has been decided to close down all the Muslim shops in the area.
Niaz Muhit, president of the Muslim Traders Association of Kandy, has told Reuters that as thousands of monks are expected to arrive in Kandy all shops owned by Muslims will be closed in order to avoid a clash.
Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero had sent a letter inviting all the monks to this conference, which is named as the "Siwuhele Maha Samuluwa".
