Bigwigs appointed to Ravi's ministry

The heads of the Power and Energy and Business Development ministry were appointed yesterday (30).

Accordingly, Rakitha Jayawardena has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Rajiv Selvaraj has been appointed as the Vice Chairman and K.K. Tissa Jinadasa as the Working Director.

For the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board, the Chairman is Deepal Sumanthree Gunaratne and Board Members are Raveendra Rathnasekara, Sampath Chandrasena, Chandana Perera, Vidanage Sanjeewa Dickwella, Mohamed Hisham Jamaldeen.

Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, the Chairman is Thuvan Mohamed Ramazan Bangsa Jaya
and the Board Members are J.D.P.K. Senaratne, Ambapali Sikurajapathi, Upul Priyantha Fernando, Gunaratne Wanninayake, Chinthaka Udayashantha.

The Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Regulatory Council, Chairman is Saminda Jayasekara, while the Board Members are Prof Lal G. Chandrasena, Dr Lohitha Samarawickrama and Tharaka Wickramatunga.

For Lanka Electricity Company (LECO), S. Tissa Nanayakkara has been appointed as the Chairman, and Vice Chairman Nivran Joseph Weerakoon.

Lanka Coal Company, the Chairman is Uditha Kalana Devasurendra and Suresh Edirisinghe as a Board Member.

Lanka Transformers Limited (LTL) Holdings Chairman is Sudath Jayasundara and Board Member is Prasanna Bandara.
