Sandya led a group of women and children like her and staged a Satyakriya yesterday (10) at Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, where they also recited the poems in Sandakinduru Jathakaya.
Later, speaking to the media, she said her husband went missing 3,181 days ago during the previous regime, and that the Army is protecting those responsible and is lying to the court.
Sandya said there were many mothers and wives like her in this country, who would make a vow to seek justice for themselves.
She also said that 12 days ago, she requested the president and the prime minister to give details before November 28 about the criminals who abducted her husband, which the Army refused to give.
If that does not happens, Sandya said, she would curse and go to all places of worship in search of justice.
Along with her eldest son, Sandya received blessings from the Mahanayake Thera of the Malwatte Chapter.
