Bus topples while trying to save a cow

A bus plying from Jaffna to Mulangkavil had skidded off the road and toppled in the Jaffna, Kerathiv, Sangupitti area last evening injuring three passengers, according to the Chavakachcheri Police.

The bus had toppled while trying to save a cow that was crossing the road, injuring the three passengers.

The police stated that due to the rainy weather, the bus had skidded off the road and toppled.

The injured were admitted to the Chavakachcheri Hospital for treatment, while the Chavakachcheri Police is conducting further investigations.
