Recommendations sought to reopen film halls

The Ministry of Cultural and Religious Affairs has requested the Director-General of Health Services - Dr. Anil Jasinghe to issue recommendations with regard to the reopening of Cinema halls.

Minister of Buddha Sasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs Bandula Harischandra said that a decision will be made as soon as they receive the health recommendations.

Permission will be sought from health authorities to conduct stage plays and indoor concerts as per recommendations.
