Its Chairman Vijitha Herath told the media that the domestic gas stocks had finished and gas was being released only for industrial use.

Meanwhile, he said that USD 7 million is scheduled to be paid today to procure two 3,500MT gas shipments.

He noted that these gas shipments are expected to reach the island between next Thursday to Saturday.
