Sri Lanka risks relegation to ninth position Featured

Sri Lanka is in danger of being relegated to the ninth position in one-day rankings if they lose more than two games of the remaining four matches of the ongoing ODI series against India.

West Indies will gain the eighth position if they manage to win all the five games in a series against England, starting on August 25.

At present, Sri Lanka is in the eighth position with 88 points, followed by West Indies in the ninth position with 78 points.

The second ODI against India will be played at Pallekele on August 24.
