Seniors under pressure not to travel to Lahore! Featured

There is suspicion that senior members of the national team are under pressure by certain persons against travelling to Pakistan to play a T-20 game in Lahore, say Sri Lanka Cricket sources.

Authorities are now looking into this.

The game in question will be played at Gadaffi Stadium on October 29.

It will be the first outing by Sri Lanka in Pakistan since the March 2009 terror attack on the team near the same stadium.

Captain Upul Tharanga and Lasith Malinga have refused to play in the game.

There are accusations that a certain manager is trying to sabotage the team’s visit to Lahore.

This person is behind previous trouble among the team members.
