India frees 15 Lankan fishermen
(Srilankamirror) – India has freed 15 Sri Lankan fishermen and three of their boats. According to reports, these fishermen had left Negombo, Chilaw and Trincomalee. The Fisheries Ministry is making arrangements to bring them back speedily with assistance from the Indian External Affairs Ministry.

(Srilankamirror) – A young female doctor attached to Badulla Hospital has died under suspicious circumstances. Twenty seven year old Dr. R.M.
