‘Will join forces with Fonseka for a strong opposition’

(Srilankamirror) – UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara has said that he would join forces with former Army chief Sarath Fonseka to form a strong opposition.

The parliamentarian has told a weekend newspaper that his party was experiencing a downturn and has lost public trust.

He described Mr. Fonseka as a true leader, who has been rendering a yeoman service to the country.

There are certain persons, who have obtained top positions but are making silly statements, said Mr. Range Bandara, adding that he had not abandoned the UNP.
