SC annuls 2011 z-score calculation
(Srilankamirror) – The Supreme Court today (June 25) annulled the z-score calculation of the GCE Advanced Level examination held last year.
A three member bench headed by chief justice Shirani Bandaranayake ordered the University Grants Commission to recalculate the z-score separately for students who sat the exam under the new and old syllabuses.
The court was taking up a fundamental rights petition filed by a group of students and the Ceylon Teachers Union.
