Cultural blossoms of French Spring


Srilankamirror – A festival of French art and culture is currently being held in Sri Lanka.

Named as ‘French Spring’, the festival is being held in Sri Lanka for the first time and will showcase a variety of Sri Lankan and French artists.

The festival will take place in different cities of Sri Lanka : Colombo, Kandy and Matara.

The festival will present ten events in various artistic fields such as world music, photography, cinema, rock music, classical music, architecture, literature, dance, street art and gastronomy.

The French Spring, which commenced on June 15, will end on June 24.

The French Spring is organised by the Alliance française de Kotte and the Embassy of France.
