Case against Senaka Wijesinghe from Jan. 25

(Srilankamirror) – A breach of trust and misuse of finances case against actor Senaka Wijesinghe will be heard again from January 25, the Nugegoda magistrate decided today (June 25).

The suspect, who is presently out on bail, pleaded not guilty when the charges against him were read out in the court.

The actor stands accused by producer Lasitha Yasakula of not producing a tele drama after having obtained Rs. 1.34 million on the promise of producing a tele drama.

After a Muhurath festival, only ten episodes of the tele drama were shot, the court was told.
