5 killed in bus-trishaw collision

(Srilankamirror) – Five persons were killed in a collision between a bus and a three wheeler at Dambokka in Pothuhera, Kurunegala.

All the dead, including two women, were occupants of the three wheeler, police said.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old boy has died after being run over by an Army cab at Thirukkovil in Ampara.

The cab had tried to overtake a bus parked by the roadside, when the incident occurred.
