Jayalath fully recovers following Daya’s help

(Srilankamirror) – UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena has fully recovered from his heart ailment after receiving the best medical treatment through the mediation of the party’s national organizer Daya Gamage.

When the MP fell ill in London, British doctors examined him and found that almost 90 per cent of his cardiac valves were blocked, and that an open heart surgery would be the only option.

A surgery of that nature at a British hospital normally costs 20,000 Sterling Pounds, or Rs. 4.2 million.

When he got to know about the matter, Mr. Gamage, who was in San Francisco, USA on a business trip at the time, sent for the medical reports, used his good offices and got in contact with his best friend and one of the best cardiovascular surgeons in the world, Dr. Mark Sylvestor, in France.

After examining everything, Dr. Sylvestor determined that an open heart surgery was unnecessary, and that a ‘stent’ valve implant according to the latest medical science findings, would be the solution.

Through that doctor’s guidance, six ‘stent’ valves were implanted on the ailing UNP parliamentarian, after which he made a fully recovery.

Dr. Jayawardena is presently resting in France for a few days.
